Dominique Bourges

As coordinator of the FEDARENE’s Brussels Office, Mrs. Dominique Bourges has more than 20 year-experience in managing a thematic network and an extensive knowledge in the field of sustainable energy. She has co-ordinated and implemented numerous European projects, especially in the Intelligent Energy Europe programme but also INTERREG IVC, FP6, FP7 and now Horizon 2020. She has been responsible for planning, preparing and implementing various types of activities including the organisation of European conferences and working groups, study visits, publications (brochures, websites, FEDARENE’s publications…) etc.

She has established multiple working groups and is an expert in capacity building for local and regional organisations in particular regions and energy agencies, bringing together political leaders and sustainable energy experts across Europe to facilitate experience exchanges and possible solutions at the local level. She built over the years an extensive network of contacts in Brussels but also all over Europe as the network represents today regions from 25 EU countries. She is in charge of coordinating the strategy of the FEDARENE network and supervising the team in the Brussels office. Dominique speaks fluent French and English.
