Smart EPC webinar for facilitators: How to plan and execute your public lighting project using the Smart EPC tools and standardized documents

Are you an energy project facilitator? Are you willing to support cities in the successful implementation of EPC projects? Then, this event is for you!

The 15 October 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00 Brussels time

Join our online training for facilitators, where you will gain in-depth knowledge of the SMART EPC tools and methodologies that will empower you to assist cities in the preparation and implementation of their EPC projects. You will be well equipped to:

  • Assess the readiness of cities’ public lighting systems for SMART EPC modernization.
  • Support cities in making their projects more attractive and financially viable by incorporating both energy and non-energy services, such as Smart City components, air quality sensors, traffic management, extended Wi-Fi, next-generation cellular communications (like 5G), and electric vehicle charging stations, into a unified tender process.
  • Guide ESCO companies in tendering for small-scale projects using standardized documentation, helping them conduct due diligence and submit offers efficiently.
  • Evaluate opportunities for additional investments within EPC projects, even those not directly related to public lighting.

You’ll also have the chance to explore case studies of cities that have successfully applied our SMART EPC concept, such as Karlovac, Croatia, and understand the key role facilitators played in their success.

This online training has been designed by experts and city practitioners as part of the Smart EPC project, specifically tailored to facilitators and energy consultants. The training will offer detailed guidance on project planning, using standardized contracts, and executing SMART EPC projects.

We recommend you to check the training material before the online training. Have a look at the Smart EPC / Handbook on Smart City and other ICT technology in EPC and the Standardised Smart EPC Contract documentation.

We look forward to seeing you at the webinar, where we will address any questions you may have about Energy Performance Contracting and the role of facilitators in driving these projects forward!
