Transnational Community Autumn Meeting: Your Integrated Home Renovation Service’s life after EU grants

Integrated Home Renovation Service (IHRS) providers often grapple with a pressing question: how to achieve financial sustainability. This challenge intensifies when they rely on EU grants that may cease or when public subsidies fall short, prompting the need for revenue diversification.

During the upcoming AUTUMN meeting of the EU Peers transnational platform, we will introduce three prevalent IHRS business models: those fully dependent on public funding, those utilising a mix of public and private funds, and those with self-sustaining models independent of subsidies. The focus will then shift to successful strategies employed by some IHRS providers as they transition from grant-dependent models to those relying on local, regional, and national funding.

Future meetings will explore additional models, including public IHRS diversifying funding sources and fully private models operating without public support. We will also discuss the limits of public IHRS in guiding the renovation process. Check the agenda Here.

Join us to share your experiences! We want to learn how your IHRS navigated the transition from EU grant reliance to a sustainable funding model supported by local or national resources.
