If your organisation is working to deliver sustainable building renovation – whether as a local authority, regional energy agency or climate‑acting body – now is the time to take your current or future One‑Stop Shop (OSS) to the next level. Through the EU PEERS Study Visits, you’ll receive first‑hand mentoring, exchange with peers and practical insights you can apply straight away.

A hands‑on journey

Applications are open until  21  December 2025. Once selected, you’ll join an online introductory meeting in February where you’ll meet fellow participants and set your study‑visit goals. Then, between February and mid‑April, you’ll take part in an in‑person study visit to the mentor organisation you’ve selected. You will be reimbursed for travel and accommodation up to 800 EUR.

Four distinct opportunities across Europe

You have four mentored EU PEERS study visits to choose from:

  • In Budapest, Hungary (Hungarian language) hosted by Energiaklub, you’ll focus on OSS models, training, tools and contractor selection.
  • In Torino, Italy (English language) with Piemonte Region, you’ll dive into OSS governance, communication, renewable energy communities and services.
  • In South East Ireland (English language) via South East Energy Agency, you’ll explore OSS & IHRS energy management, building passports, financing and consumer support.
  • In Latvia or Vilnius, Lithuania (Latvian language) with Ēkubirojs, the focus is on setting up a municipal one‑stop shop from the ground up.

Why this matters

Managing renovation services today is about more than technical fixes. It means crafting services homeowners trust, aligning with regional climate goals, designing ready‑to‑go business models, reaching vulnerable households and engaging communities in meaningful ways. Through this programme you will gain:

  • Tailored guidance from mentors who’ve done this work.
  • Practical tools and approaches you can use back home.
  • A valuable peer network across Europe.
  • Real case studies and lessons to accelerate your impact.

What you need to do

To apply, fill out the application form in English (or in Hungarian for the Hungary‑based visit) by 21 December 2025. The form asks for: your organisation’s type and area of operation, contact details (including one backup person), your motivation and how you plan to share the learning, and your preferred study‑visit topic.
