Are you supporting local authorities in tackling climate challenges? Do you want to strengthen your approach to climate risk preparedness and adaptation? The Peer Learning Programme is back with a new focus: Building climate resilience.
Joining the programme is a chance to connect with peers facing similar challenges, share expertise, and co-create new approaches. Mentees will gain actionable insights and tools they can immediately apply in their territories. Mentors will strengthen their leadership role in the Covenant community while reflecting on and refining their own practices. The programme also fosters long-term connections across Europe, building a supportive network of climate and energy practitioners committed to shared resilience goals.
How does it work?
The Peer Learning Programme is a hands-on learning and exchange initiative for Covenant Coordinators and Supporters. Through three interactive online sessions, you will:
- Bring a real challenge from your daily work
- Exchange ideas, tools, and strategies with peers across Europe
- Receive actionable feedback to strengthen climate risk preparedness and adaptation efforts in your territories
This cycle focuses on building climate resilience, helping you support municipalities in assessing risks, mapping vulnerabilities, and designing effective adaptation strategies.
Who can join?
The call is open to all Covenant Coordinators and Supporters in EU-27 and EFTA countries*. Not yet officially part of the Covenant? You’re still welcome, just finalise your registration before the programme starts.
Participants can join either as mentees or mentors:
Mentees are looking for guidance and inspiration to tackle challenges related to climate risk preparedness and adaptation.
Mentors bring valuable experience and are ready to share successful practices, lessons learned, and strategies that can support others in strengthening local climate resilience.
* Eligible countries are EU-27 plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
