The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub is a European Commission initiative designed to promote a bottom-up approach to the energy transition across the EU to enhance citizen participation and strengthen the social dimension of the Energy Union.

The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub has been launched to make it easier for all EU citizens to adopt and invest in sustainable energy technologies and infrastructure. It will serve as a central support platform for citizen-led energy initiatives across the EU, helping to maximize their impact.
The project consortium includes Ricardo, FEDARENE, Rescoop.eu, Ecorys, Th!nk E, and Milieu. Their responsibilities include:
Running over a three-year period, the project held its kick-off meeting in March 2025, with the launch of its official website scheduled for June 2025.
The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub (CEAH) quarterly newsletters will provide project updates, citizen energy news, events, expert guidance for energy citizens and other energy transition stakeholders, and access to engaging and tailored material, such as case studies, best practice reports, and factsheets all aimed at helping subscribers step into their energy citizenship. Subscribers will be the first to find out about opportunities to apply to receive or deliver technical support for sustainable energy initiatives.
