    The Data we collect and how we use it

    There are five specific cases in which we collect personal data:

    1. If you register to our newsletters: we maintain mailing lists to keep interested, eligible individuals informed about important topics, notably our members and subscribers to our newsletters. These lists contain personal information such as names, email addresses, countries, job titles and organisations.
    2. If you have registered to our events FEDARENE: you have therefore registered your name, email address, organisation, job title and country of origin on our Website through our GDPR compliant registration forms. This data will be used for the management of the event. Your affirmative consent will be required to be added to our mailing list in order to inform you about future FEDARENE events and activities that might be of interest to you.
    3. If your organisation is a member of FEDARENE: as such, you will automatically receive access to our intranet and be included in our members database to keep you up-to-date regarding our activities.
    4. FEDARENE may receive information about you from third party sources including contractors and information available online in the public domain.
    5. FEDARENE’s official website uses cookies: unless you expressly state otherwise, you consent to our use of cookies. You can revoke your consent on cookies by following this link.     Who has access to your information?

    Our website and intranet are developed and kept up to date by Check First OY who has a consultation right. Our data are not shared with Check First OY and the company has a confidentiality agreement with Fedarene. Check First OY is also responsive of the security of our website and intranet.

    Mailing lists are managed confidentially by the FEDARENE Brussels Office. This information is stored in a protected area of our Network Attached Storage. Under no circumstances do we share the stored data with third organisations, except if a competent authority demands it under the law or if we have your permission.

    We use the online marketing platform SendinBlue to send our automated email campaigns. Please refer to their Privacy Policy and Terms if you want to find out how they process data as Service Provider.

    In the case of its members, FEDARENE has access to usernames and passwords to access its intranet. Intranet access details are stored on WordPress only. We do not divulge any user details registered from the Website. However, we are not the author of this software, and are not responsible for any failures in the software to preserve subscriber anonymity.

    How can you control your personal contact details?
