CETIF 2026 – Clean Energy Transition Forum
About the Event
The clean energy transition is central to Europe’s energy security, independence, and affordability. Across the EU, transformative legislative measures are bringing energy efficiency and clean energy solutions to every region, every business, and every citizen.

The Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum (CETIF) showcases initiatives that accelerate investment on the ground. Cities, regions, businesses, financial institutions, and communities across Europe are pioneering innovative projects that demonstrate tangible progress. Sharing this knowledge is essential for stakeholders seeking alternative pathways to finance an affordable, clean, and inclusive energy transition.
CETIF offers a unique space for this exchange. What sets it apart is its practitioner-to-practitioner format: successful initiatives to finance sustainable energy and climate adaptation are presented in detail across a line-up of parallel breakout sessions. Networking is central to the event, enabling participants to deepen their learning and arrange actionable follow-up.
CETIF 2026 takes place on 6 May 2026 in Brussels, in collaboration with the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition and the EU Covenant of Mayors. It builds on the successful previous editions of the EU Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum and the wealth of initiatives funded through EU programmes including LIFE Clean Energy Transition, ELENA, and InvestEU.
