European Energy Efficiency Day

October 13th is European Energy Efficiency Day! Join the European Alliance to Save Energy to draw the future of energy.

The 13 October 2022 from 09:00 to 18:15 Brussels time

The European Alliance to Save Energy is organising European Energy Efficiency Day on the 13th of October. The entire conference will be held online.

This high-level conference will bring together leading policymakers, business players, civil society organisations, and energy experts. The goal is to create a new, unique platform to explore cost-efficient and fair decarbonisation solutions while increasing awareness of energy savings as the way forward to achieve the EU Green Deal.

According to the International Energy Agency’s Net Zero by 2050 report, achieving climate neutrality by 2050 requires pushing the average rate of energy efficiency improvements in the period 2020-2030 to about three times the average of the last two decades. This can be done through massively scaling up energy efficiency solutions that are available today.
