The 10th European Summit of Regions and Cities, organized by the European Committee of the Regions and the Walloon Region, is set to take place in Mons, Belgium, on 18-19 March 2024. Thousands of mayors, councillors, regional ministers, and global decision-makers will convene to discuss challenges and solutions for the future. 

Registration and Practical Information

Participants are encouraged to register, and a detailed program will be provided closer to the summit. For onsite participation, registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Online streaming will be available for those unable to attend in person. Confirmation emails and venue details will be sent to accepted onsite participants. 

For security purposes, please be prepared to provide your ID/passport number during registration. 

Themes and Sessions

The summit will address global challenges, focusing on local solutions, cohesion, well-being, sustainability, innovation, and the crucial role of cities and regions in democracy.  

Simultaneous interpretation will be available during all sessions, following each specific session:  Spanish, Denish, English, French, etc. For details about language coverage for a specific session, please consult the Summit programme online. 

A Festival of Regions and Cities will be part of the event. Also, the 10th European Summit coincides with the 30th anniversary of the European Committee of the Regions
