The 2023 edition of EURESFO marks the 10th anniversary of the forum, a symbolic moment to take stock of the European performance in resilience and to answer key questions on the present and future of climate change adaptation in Europe.
The European Urban Resilience Forum aims to provide the space and time to discuss a shared vision to implement a European resilient transformation. By looking back at the path that brought cities and regions together for the last 10 years of the Forum, participants will be able to evaluate their performance, highlighting challenges, missed opportunities, and good practices, as well as to discuss key opportunities to act better and quicker in the upcoming future.
The REGILIENCE project is proud to announce that it will be one of the co-organisers. We will host a session taking place on the first day of the forum (18th October – 11:30 to 12:45) and called “What is resilience in practice: the past and the future”. During the session, we will explore how European regions approached resilience in the past and until today. In a world café format, we will also reflect on what the future of resilience in regions looks like. In addition, we will hold a stand in the marketplace and offer the possibility to test the tools developed by REGILIENCE and our sister-projects.
