What roles will taxations play in achieving the Green Deal? How will energy taxation support these climate goals?
The European Commission has set out to revise several Directives to align them to the Green Deal and the decarbonization of the European Union by 2050. This also means its energy taxation directive.
Environmental taxation can play a positive and active role in achieving these objectives, by encouraging a switch to cleaner energy, more sustainable industry and greener habits.
Join European Commissioner for Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, during this online event on the 20th of April from 4 PM to 6 PM CET.
