Participate in the upcoming COOL DH & Celsius Talk on low temperature district heating (LTDH) on Thursday, April 16th at 10:30 CET.
Decarbonised district heating systems are already here, and some of them are spelt “LTDH”. Low temperature district heating can prove to be an important part of addressing climate change and global warming.
Celsius is organising this webinar in partnership with COOL DH, a Swedish-Danish, EU-funded project aimed towards the development and demonstration of LTDH systems. During the one-hour meeting, you will learn about the opportunities and challenges for cities developing more sustainable and efficient energy systems. The discussion will address potential plans for the deployment of new DHC systems or the extension and refurbishing of existing ones to a higher standard, using local low-grade heat sources.
Speakers
- Sten Gravenslund Olesen, Project Manager in Smart Energy Systems at COWI, who will present the concept and technologies behind low temperature district heating and the various benefits it presents.
- Sara Kralmark – Project manager within business development at Kraftringen, who will present innovative business model solutions associated to LTDH systems, with focus on the COOL DH demo site of Brunnshög in Lund, Sweden.
- Christian Holm Christiansen– Senior Consultant at the Danish Technological Institute (DTI), working on the RELaTED project, will describe some of the obstacles that can be encountered and that need to be solved beforehand.
- Gabriele Pesce– Project Officer at Euroheat & Power, will be the moderator.
