Energy precariousness, feedback from the city of Arcueil

In Île-de-France, according to the 2013 INSEE housing survey, 452,600 households in the region, i.e. 8.8% of all households, were exposed to an energy expense exceeding 10% of their income.

La Bouilloire, an environmental education structure working in the field of social and solidarity economy, supports various actors (including local authorities) through awareness-raising actions and training adapted to agents on fuel poverty, including recently with households in Arcueil.

This “Social Innovation and Ecological Transition” sheet presents Arcueil’s experience. It reviews the economic results for households. It also presents accompanied self-rehabilitation, thanks to the Compagnons Bâtisseurs network.
