ENNEREG – Sustainable Energy Action Plan Implementation Report

The purpose of this document is to describe how ENNEREG regional partners worked towards the successful implementation of promotional activities regarding the Sustainable Energy Action Plans, the Sustainable Energy Projects and the Covenant of Mayors Initiative in their region and in other regions for replication.

The ENNEREG project acted as an experimental tool. The work of the consortium brings results that can be used as supportive material by any region or organisation for promoting Sustainable Development. Promotional activities ensured the successful implementation of the project.

The Second Knowledge transfer workshop of the project produced the material for this document; this report is a demonstration of the different ways to approach and reach the European 20-20-20 targets at the regional level. The main objective of this workshop was to offer an exchange forum on how regional partners could best realize the planned coordinated promotional activities as well as monitor their impact in particular, partners discussed the implementation and barriers of their work and through discussion and presentations, they succeeded in transferring the experience from one region to the other as far as promotion is concerned.
