The Liguria Regional Energy Agency is a joint-stock public agency established by Liguria Region to deal with infrastructure development, building and urban renovation and the implementation of energy policies at regional level. The South East Energy Agency (formerly Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency/3cea) was established by Carlow and Kilkenny Local Authorities in partnership with the Leader Development Companies in Carlow and Kilkenny to provide sustainable energy information and services to the people of Carlow and Kilkenny, to local businesses and community groups, and to the Local Authorities. Since being founded in 2002, the Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency has expanded to include Wexford and recently Waterford, now representing the entire Southeast region as South East Energy Agency.

The Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CLuBE)  is a non-profit legal entity established among local actors and stakeholders of the Region of Western Macedonia, Greece. CluBE emerged since early 2000s from the continuous collaboration of regional players during previous projects. It is a platform for cooperation of the three pillars of the regional economy: the public sector, research and entrepreneurship.
