FEDARENE Over the Years – 35 Years of Regional Cooperation

To mark its 35th anniversary, FEDARENE is proud to unveil the first edition of FEDARENE over the Years, a special publication retracing the network’s rich history. Led by our Deputy Secretary General, Patrick Biard, and developed with the invaluable contributions of College 4 members, the FEDARENE office, and long-time friends, this publication gathers key milestones, stories, and testimonies that have shaped the network since its foundation in 1990.

More than a timeline, this publication is a tribute to the human and institutional partnerships that make up FEDARENE’s DNA. It highlights the collective ambition to drive the energy and environmental transitions across Europe’s regions, celebrating decades of collaboration, innovation, and impact. Initially shared exclusively with our members, this living document will continue to grow, capturing new initiatives and reinforcing the legacy of regional cooperation for a sustainable Europe.
