The Energy Foundation of Asturias (FAEN) collaborates with the CLIPPER project which aims to support maritime industries to tackle Blue Growth challenges and energy transition imperatives. Its overall objective is to improve public policies in support of maritime industries by encouraging business strategies focused on diversification and differentiation.
The Regions have a crucial role to play in maintaining SMEs competitiveness in their traditional activities (shipyards in particular) while becoming leaders in blooming markets such as Marine Renewable Energies (MRE).
Its overall objective is to improve public policies in support of maritime industries’ SMEs, notably by encouraging business strategies focused on diversification and differentiation.
The partners of the project will build relevant action plans for their territories and shape political recommendations to impulse them locally, in line with the analysis of relevant national and European contexts. Cooperation by partners will allow the implementation of new tools to give SMEs support for their manufacturing performance and leadership in new markets such as marine renewable energies.
