The City of Copenhagen has set the target of becoming “The World’s First Carbon Neutral Capital” by 2025, with the first step to reduce carbon emissions by 20 % by 2015, compared to 2005.

The City of Copenhagen has set the target of becoming “The World’s First Carbon Neutral Capital” by 2025, with the first step to reducing carbon emissions by 20 % by 2015, compared to 2005. The Vision has these central themes:
- world’s best city for cycles;
- climate Capital;
- a green and blue capital city;
- a clean and healthy big city;
- the Copenhagen Green Growth Strategy.
