Energy Efficiency Improvement Program in Prahova County
The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency “AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova” is supporting 10 municipalities in the Prahova County to elaborate the “Energy Efficiency Improvement Program” (PIEE). After completing the program for the Municipality of Magurele, the agency started collecting the energy consumption data for the Lipanesti Municipality in order to substantiate the analysis necessary for the elaboration of the Energy Efficiency Improvement Program.

The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency, AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova, is supporting 10 municipalities in Prahova County to elaborate the “Energy Efficiency Improvement Program” (PIEE). After completing the program for the Municipality of Magurele, the agency started collecting the energy consumption data for the Lipanesti Municipality in order to substantiate the analysis necessary for the elaboration of the Energy Efficiency Improvement Program.
The program will be developed by A3ER in accordance with the model approved by the Department of Energy Efficiency of the Romanian Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE).
Through this project, AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova aims to assist public authorities in elaborating renovation strategies for their building stock, which will become examples for other municipalities to elaborate their own strategies and to continue renovating the building stock. Eventually, this should lead to lower energy bills, increased comfort, healthier living and working spaces, improved air quality and the creation of jobs locally.
