Decarbonisation and Competitiveness: How Energy Agencies Support Europe’s Companies
About the Event
Energy Agencies across Europe are helping companies turn the clean energy transition into a competitive edge. A ManagEnergy webinar on 18 November will show how combining EU policy insights with practical examples from the regions.

On 18 November, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET, the ManagEnergy webinar “Decarbonisation and Competitiveness: How Energy Agencies Support Europe’s Companies” will take a closer look at this work, and FEDARENE will be taking part. The session will connect the European policy level with experiences from the ground, showing how regional action contributes to the EU’s priorities on industrial decarbonisation, energy security and affordable energy.
For European companies, the path to a stronger market position increasingly runs through the clean energy transition. Affordable, secure and sustainable energy has become a key factor in competitiveness, and local and regional Energy Agencies are playing a growing role in helping businesses get there.
Energy Agencies support companies in many ways: improving energy efficiency, electrifying their processes, deploying renewable energy and finding the finance needed to make these investments happen. Together with businesses, regional authorities and other partners, they help companies cut energy costs, become more resilient, attract investment and design new routes to decarbonisation.
The webinar will feature speakers from the European Commission’s DG ENER, ManagEnergy, Catalan Institute for Energy (ICAEN), the South East Ireland Energy Agency (SEEA) and Energicentrum Gotland. Participants will gain practical insights from leading regional initiatives and see how Energy Agencies are helping to build a more competitive, resilient and climate-neutral Europe.
