Uptake of electric vehicles will only become widespread once adequate charging infrastructure becomes available, however, this is often viewed as a ‘chicken and egg’ problem – which comes first, the users, or the infrastructure?
Public authorities need to play an active role in the deployment of charge points, but how can they procure the right equipment and select the most beneficial sites for installation?

The discussion will focus on cities, their experiences of rolling out charging infrastructure and lessons and results from Interreg Europe projects including EMOBICITY and e-MOPOLI.
