FACILITA Community of Practice Meeting on OSS Governance
About the Event
The FACILITA Community of Practice will gather on Monday, 2 December, for an engaging session dedicated to One-Stop-Shop (OSS) governance models.
Hosted by FEDARENE, this online meeting will bring together practitioners and experts to exchange knowledge on how local and regional authorities can structure and manage their renovation One-Stop-Shops effectively. The session will dive into different governance approaches, focusing on public procurement, financing mechanisms, and service design — key elements to ensure long-term sustainability and scalability of OSS initiatives.
Exploring Governance and Financing Models
The discussion will open with an introduction by Diana Bosfy (FEDARENE), followed by three presentations highlighting innovative governance and financing models from across Europe:
- Vera Valero Escribano (Facilita Project) will present an overview of OSS models in the EU, focusing on their integrated services and how these can support public building renovation.
- Silvio De Nigris (GASLESS Project) will delve into OSS governance within Public-Private Partnerships, illustrating how collaboration between public bodies and private actors can accelerate energy renovation.
- Angeliki Konstantinopoulou (CROSSFIT Project) will explore governance and financing aspects of OSS operations, offering insights on practical funding approaches and financial structures.
The session will conclude with an open discussion, allowing participants to exchange experiences and pose questions to the speakers.
A Collaborative Space for Public Building Renovation
The FACILITA Community of Practice provides a space for local and regional authorities, agencies, and project partners to share practices, challenges, and solutions related to One-Stop-Shop development for public building renovation. This upcoming session continues the community’s mission to strengthen cooperation and foster innovation in the governance of energy renovation services.
