About the Event
As the MultiHome project comes to an end, three informal morning conversations bring together the people who made it happen to share what worked, what was hard, and what will last.
Over the years Multihome has worked to make home renovation simpler for residents across the Plovdiv Region in Bulgaria. There, over 90% of residential buildings fall into the lowest energy performance classes, yet renovation has moved painfully slowly. In Plovdiv Region, only a small fraction of buildings had been renovated since 2012, held back by barriers too complex for most homeowners to navigate alone.
To tackle this, MultiHome built a cooperation model bringing homeowners, businesses, public authorities and financial institutions together, and launched a Service Hub and Platform offering expertise at every step, bundling services into One stop-service homeowners could trust.
Rather than marking the end of MultiHome with a formal closing event, the project is hosting three casual morning sessions. Each one lasts just 30 minutes and skips the usual slides and prepared speeches. Around the table sit local government, homeowners, energy experts, businesses and finance professionals, the same mix of actors who worked together to turn renovation ambitions into real progress. Their goal is simple: talk openly about what was built, what worked, what proved difficult, and what might outlast the project itself.
