RENOBOOST
Unlocking the power of building data to accelerate multi-family building renovation in Southern Europe
RENOBOOST aims to accelerate faster, deeper and fairer renovation of multi-family buildings in Southern Europe by improving the quality and use of building data and turning it into practical renovation guidance.
The project brings together data from Energy Performance Certificates, Renovation Passports, Smart Readiness Indicators, Digital Building Logbooks and other local data sources. This information will be integrated into a common data model to support more accurate energy assessments and better renovation planning.
How will RENOBOOST work?
RENOBOOST will develop and test a data-driven renovation methodology combining:
- improved and more comparable energy performance diagnostics;
- renovation plans adapted to local climate, building characteristics and vulnerable households;
- digital renovation services for homeowners, financial institutions and public authorities.
The approach will be tested in three pilot regions: Bilbao (Spain), Porto (Portugal) and Occitanie (France). The pilots will help refine the methodology and prepare it for replication in other European regions.
