Energy precariousness, feedback from the city of Arcueil

This “Social Innovation and Ecological Transition” sheet presents Arcueil’s experience. It reviews the economic results for households.

In Île-de-France, according to the 2013 INSEE housing survey, 452,600 households in the region, i.e. 8.8% of all households, were exposed to an energy expense exceeding 10% of their income.

La Bouilloire, an environmental education structure working in the field of social and solidarity economy, supports various actors (including local authorities) through awareness-raising actions and training adapted to agents on fuel poverty, including recently with households in Arcueil.
