As a Policy Officer at FEDARENE, Mickaël leverages his advocacy and policy expertise to advance an energy and climate transition grounded in the needs of Europe's regions and citizens. He holds a background in political science and international relations, and gained professional experience in advocacy and public policy within EU and national institutions as well as in trade associations. Mickaël joined FEDARENE after three years working in the industrial and social cooperative movement.
At FEDARENE, he focuses on the organisation’s advocacy and policy work on key files including the Energy Efficiency Directive, the Clean Industrial Deal, the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, and the Multiannual Financial Framework. He is fluent in French and English.
