Webinar: One-stop-shops for deep energetic refurbishment of private buildings

On 13 September 2019 the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform hosted a webinar on One-stop-shops for deep energetic refurbishment of private buildings.

One-stop-shops (OSS) are easily accessible tools for overcoming market fragmentation on both the demand and supply sides. They can offer holistic renovation solutions for building owners, covering evaluation of energy use, advice on interventions and access to finance and contractors. OSSs have been advocated by the European Commission through both the ‘Smart financing for smart buildings’ initiative and the recast Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, where they are expected to become key tools for the energy transition.

This webinar, taking place 13 September from 10:30 – 12:00 CET, provided an introduction to One-Stop-Shops from the Policy Learning Platform, with presentations and discussions of three successful cases already implemented in Europe:

  • Maison de l’habitat durable – presented by Hervé Frys from Sustainable Housing Centre and Francis Lambert from Housing Department, City of Lille (France)
  • Reimarkt OSS – presented by Josien Kruizinga, Reimarkt (Netherlands)
  • Oktave – presented by Olivier Longin and Benjamin Godfroy, from Region Grand Est (France)
