EU Peers Who is Who: South-East Energy Agency

Once a month, EU Peers organizes a thirty-minute online meeting for their whole network to get to know one of their members in greater detail. The member starred in this next session is also a member of ours, as the South-East Energy Agency has not only been assisting the 400 thousand inhabitants of the Irish counties of Kilkenny, Carlow, Waterford, and Wexford in sectors ranging from transport to sustainable energy communities since its foundation in 2002, it also formally established its One-Stop Shop in 2022, after half a decade of providing integrated home renovation services.

With a team of two full-time equivalent workers supported by several other specialized teams within the South-East Energy Agency and from other entities, the agency’s OSS targets a varied public made of individual private homeowners, vulnerable tenants, voluntary housing associations, and approved housing bodies. In 2024 notably, the agency’s assistance with deep renovation raised the Building Energy Rating of over thirty homes to an A from an initial rating ranging from D to G.

Find out more about them and their successes by joining the EU Peers Who is Who on Monday, May 19th at 11:30 PM CEST. Registrations are open now!
