Please look up! Efficient, resilient fair and smart – what does our energy and climate future look like?

The Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP) is hosting an upcoming hybrid event, “Please Look Up!” on the future of an inclusive energy transition in Europe. From 15 to 16 October 2025, energy and climate experts will convene to discuss the energy transition and celebrate the conclusion of LIFE projects.

Attendees are invited to either attend the event in person in Brussels or online. During registration, attendees can also choose to register for all sessions or choose select ones to attend. The event will combine LIFE-funded projects, with representation from Ineexs, Regio1st, CoolLife, RENOVERTY, Reverter, EP-0, GigaRegioFactory and ENSMOV Plus.

Why Attend?

This two-day event is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and insights from the past four years of research and practice with leading experts from across Europe. Sessions will explore practical pathways to a fair and sustainable energy transition, covering topics such as innovative business models for smart energy services, recognising energy efficiency and demand response as key resources, strategies for addressing energy poverty through renovation roadmaps, and policy solutions to bridge gaps toward 2030 targets.

Submissions for poster abstracts on projects related to energy and climate are also open until 10 September. Poster guidelines will be given after the selection process.
