Islands College

FEDARENE’s Islands College unites island and mainland energy agencies to strengthen cooperation, advocate for supportive EU policies, and showcase innovative island solutions driving the clean energy transition across Europe.

Formed in 2018, the College gathers energy agencies and organisations working on and with European islands. Together, they channel their collective expertise to promote integrated and sustainable approaches that connect energy, water, waste, and mobility, supported by digital tools and innovative investment models. Through joint advocacy, cooperation, and knowledge-sharing, the Islands College ensures that islands remain at the forefront of Europe’s climate and energy transition.
