What is EUSEW?
EUSEW is the largest annual event in Europe dedicated to clean energy and renewables. The 2026 edition of EUSEW will feature a 3-day Policy Conference, an Awards Ceremony, and an Energy Fair offering networking opportunities.
Organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the theme of EUSEW 2026 is “A clean, secure and competitive Energy Union”.
How you can get involved
Nominations are open for the European Sustainable Energy Awards, which celebrate outstanding contributions to Europe’s clean energy transition. The awards highlight individuals, projects, and initiatives that support the objectives of the EU Clean Industrial Deal and demonstrate leadership in implementing effective clean energy solutions. Nominations for the EUSEW Awards close on 29 January 2026.
Applications to host a policy session to discuss topics like the future of clean energy and innovations in renewables are also open until 22 January 2026. Hosting a session offers a platform to exchange ideas and perspectives with an audience that includes policymakers, innovators, and key actors from across the energy sector.
Additional opportunities to get involved in EUSEW 2026 are expected to open in early 2026. Opportunities to host a stand at the Energy Fair will open on 13 January, and the call to become a Young Energy Ambassador will open on 27 January. Also, a call for proposals for Sustainable Energy Day events will open on 17 February.
