Death of Roger Léron, former President of Fedarene
Roger Léron was at the origin of the creation of FEDARENE, nearly 23 years ago, and was a strong supporter of our activities throughout all these years.
We are saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected loss of our Vice-President and former President Roger Léron from 1995 to 2007, in Valence last night. Roger was at the origin of the creation of FEDARENE, nearly 23 years ago, and was a strong supporter of our activities throughout all these years.
Roger has been extensively involved in sustainable energy policies at national, regional and local levels. In 1978, Roger was a founding member of Rhônalpénergie-Environnement and was president of the agency since 1992; during his career, he successively held the positions of Councillor at the Rhône-Alpes Region, member of the French Parliament, president of the Acnusa, President of the French Network of Regional Energy Agencies and more recently Roger was an intensive contributor to the French energy transition debate.
