About the Event:

Under the hospices of the Representative of the Government of Catalonia to the EU, the ePLANET final event promises a dynamic agenda with insightful discussions. After a networking lunch where we will get to know each other, our discussions will be clustered in three thematic.

First we will address the Energy Transition governance with insights form the Covenant of Mayors Europe on the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans framework, then ICAEN will present the clustering governance concept they developed during the ePLANET project and our sister-project IN-PLAN will make the bridge with spatial planning processes.

For our second discussion, we will present tips and tools for a successful implementation of Energy Transition actions. REGIO1st project will explain why and how to integrate Energy Efficiency 1st principle in regional planning. Then, we will underline the importance of data to track the Energy Transition at municipal level with a presentation on the ePLANET platform and insights from our Greek partners on how they use this data.

Finally, our third and last topic will focus on stakeholder engagement through energy communities. Once again ePLANET will give insights on how data can unlock energy communities potential and our Czech partners we will present their best practices and the challenges they faced to estimate the PV potential on rooftops. Finally, as external input, Reschool will share insight on how to engage all citizens.
Each panel will conclude with a discussion between the speakers and questions from the audience. You will also have the opportunity to test the ePLANET platform during the coffee break where ePLANET coordinator, CIMNE, will showcase the platform.
