EUCF Webinar in Ireland

The third call of the European City Facility is officially open!
Join the EUCF webinar for Irish stakeholders to find out how to apply.

The 16 November 2021 from 15:30 to 16:30 Brussels time

The European City Facility is set up under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union: tailor-made, rapid and simplified financial support (in the form of  EUR 60,000 lump sums) and related services will be provided to a large number of cities and municipalities in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the EEA-EFTA countries of Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway, to enable them to develop relevant investment concepts.

Cities and municipalities play a key role in a sustainable European energy transition. They have a tremendous potential to build comprehensive sustainable energy investment programs (i.e. investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy). They also play a key role in pooling smaller projects into larger investment portfolios and in mobilizing the significant financial resources required for the energy transition.

The Facility is open to municipalities / local authorities, their groupings and to local public entities aggregating municipalities / local authorities only. Find out more.

Regional and local energy agencies and regional authorities can also play an important role, by supporting their municipalities in submitting a successful proposal and providing them with technical assistance for the development and implementation of the investment concept.

The third call for applications is officially open (October 15, 2021) and will remain so for 2 months.

This call has a budget of over 4 millions EUR and up to 69 applications can be selected for financing.

The webinar to launch the first call for EUCF grants in Ireland will take place on the 16th of November at 15:20 CET. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to boost your sustainable energy plan!

The webinar is organised by 3CEA – Three Counties Energy Agency, EUCF national network in Ireland, and presented by TEA – Tipperary Energy Agency, EUCF Country Expert in Ireland.
