The Tartu Regional Energy Agency invites you all to participate in an Estonian-Latvian hybrid seminar “Apartment building renovation and follow-up activities “, on Friday, 16th of September from 11:00-15:30 local time (10:00-14:30 CEST).

This hybrid seminar is dedicated to apartment building renovation and follow-up activities. In this seminar, you will gain an overview of apartment building renovations and their pros and cons. You will also gain an overview of follow-up activities that take place after renovation. It is important that home-owners and building managers understand that renovations require some extra work and extra costs. In this seminar, the organisers will give examples from Estonia and Latvia.

The seminar will take place in hybrid format, meaning there is the possibility to participate in Tartu, SPARK Demo (Narva mnt 3), and via the internet. Attendees in Tartu will avail of a site visit to an apartment building renovated by the SmartEnCity project.

The seminar will be held in English!

11:00 – 11:30 Lunch at SPARK Demo

11:30 – 14:00 A brief overview of the project Smart Living and an interactive tool demonstration

  • Kalle Virkus (TREA) will discuss renovation and good-bad from SmartEnCity project
  • Martin Kikas (TREA) conveys the building management company (Kvatro) experience of renovation and follow-up activities
  • Edgars Augustiņš (Vidzeme Planning Region) will talk about ESCO services for multi-apartment buildings with guaranteed energy savings and work quality for 20 years

14:00 – 15:30 Site visit to SmartEnCity building
