GET READY FOR 2050: How to Successfully Plan for the Future

Watch the second session of the event series GET READY FOR 2050 for the discussion on climate and energy planning for the future.

Speakers’ slides

Are cities and regions ready for a sustainable and green future? Planning and preparing in time are fundamental for adapting to the changing climate.

In this second session, we focused on climate and energy planning. What are the European initiatives currently in place to support cities and regions in this exercise? How to integrate long-term objectives and carbon neutrality in local/regional plans? How to develop strategic environmental assessment and climate adaptation measures? These are some of the questions that were addressed.
