“Excellence in Bioenergy Award” for Christiane EGGER! (Upper Austria Energy Agency)
The Excellence in Bioenergy award was granted to Christiane Egger, deputy manager of O.Ö. Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria.

Biomass Magazine and the International Biomass Conference & Expo, which took place at the Minneapolis Convention Center, announced this year’s recipients of its annual industry awards, which were distributed during a ceremony prior to the April 21 general session.
The Excellence in Bioenergy award was granted to Christiane Egger, deputy manager of O.Ö. Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria, and manager of Okoenergie-Cluster, a network of 170 companies active in renewable energy and efficiency. Ms Egger is also vice president of FEDARENE, the European network of regional energy and environment agencies, and is an expert in building energy efficiency, biomass heating and dissemination and promotion of sustainable energy production and use.
