The Energy and Environment Agency of Lower Austria (eNu) was founded in 2012 as a one-stop shop for all environmental and energy issues in Lower Austria. With expertise in a broad range of areas, eNu operates a main office and six branch offices in the federal province of Lower Austria. Ninety employees work in three main departments: “Energy & Climate”, “Environment & Lifestyle”, “Nature & Resources”, providing services for target groups such as individuals, municipalities and regions, and enterprises.

The agency’s structure and over 100,000 customer contacts allow its experts to gain a lot of knowledge about sustainable living needs. eNu has broad expertise in preparing and implementing training, workshops and counselling services and makes a valuable contribution to the awareness-raising of ecological issues.

eNu is not only a contact point for citizens, municipalities, enterprises, and the government in the federal province of Lower Austria, but also a competent project partner at the regional, national and international levels. eNu’s experience and specialist knowledge include national and international projects, since long-term changes can work on two levels: global networking and decision-making, as well as local commitment and action.

Projects
