The concentrations of pollutants in Île-de-France, even if they have been decreasing for several years, remain problematic, with significant exceedances of the limit values. In 2016, more than 1.4 million Ile-de-France residents are still exposed to levels of pollution that do not comply with regulations.
This leaflet summarizes the air pollution situation in Île-de-France in figures and explanations. It reviews the support provided by (IAU-Ile de France) – previously ARENE – and AIRPARIF, at the service of Ile-de-France communities, on the integration of air quality into climate plans.
