Webinar: Catalysing the EU Renovation Wave in the transition to the next generation EPC

On June 30, 2020, QualDeEPC and its two sister projects, U-CERT and X-tendo, collaboratively presented the challenges and solutions of current processes behind building energy performance certificate (EPC) schemes. The Joint Webinar was hosted by BUILD UP, the European Portal For Energy Efficiency In Buildings. Funded under the same Horizon2020 topic, next-generation of Energy Performance Assessment and Certification, the three projects came together in this webinar to present the issues related to current EPC schemes in Europe and the potential solutions each project works on.

After an introduction on the scope of each project, the presentations deep-dive into an overview of the common hurdles of EPC schemes across Europe, such as limited reliability, lack of compliance and end-user acceptance. The webinar then concludes with the specific solutions brought forward by each of the three projects.
