The II International Ecoislas Forum, hosted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and organised by Infecar, is set to provide a dynamic platform for experts to discuss sustainable transitions for island territories. The event will explore innovative approaches to circular and blue economies, energy, water, mobility, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity.
Among the distinguished speakers, several of our esteemed members will take centre stage. Savvas Vlachos, Director of the Cyprus Energy Agency, Sulev Alajõe of EISEA, and Raúl García Brink, representing the Gran Canaria Island Energy Council. Their contributions will provide valuable insights and perspectives on advancing sustainability in island contexts.
This remarkable forum is designed to encourage collaboration and the exchange of best practices, with the aim of building greener, more self-sufficient, and environmentally sustainable island models. It promises to be a unique opportunity to engage in crucial discussions and explore transformative solutions for island sustainability.
The event will take place on 30 and 31 January 2025 at Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, located at Avenida de la Feria nº 1, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
