As the urgency of climate change continues to rise, local authorities are uniquely positioned to drive impactful change from the ground up. That’s why the Own Your SECAP initiative is hosting a dynamic final conference designed to empower municipalities with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration needed to take decisive climate action.
Join online on 13 June 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET for a rich, interactive session that blends practical guidance, EU-level policy insights, and powerful local stories. This free event is open to all and especially relevant for municipal leaders, planners, and energy and climate professionals working to implement or enhance their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs).
The conference, hosted by the Own Your SECAP partners, including our member Ekodoma, will explore a wide range of essential topics. These include updates on evolving EU climate policies, how ISO 50001 supports structured planning, and tailored advice for small municipalities starting or refining their SECAP journey. Participants will also learn strategies for boosting public engagement, hear real-world experiences from across Europe, and get a preview of upcoming EU funding opportunities shared by a representative from CINEA.
