Can collaboration between stakeholders from different levels be a key to achieve successful energy and climate plans?

In this first session, we focused on multi-level governance. How to build effective collaboration processes between different departments and governance levels to increase the quality of sustainable energy and climate plans? How can municipalities cooperate and design joint SECAPs? How can we better share and exploit energy data? How are regions currently supporting municipalities? These are some of the questions that were addressed.

About the webinar series

The Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy – Europe, H2020 projects C-Track 50 and PentaHelix joined forces for a unique joint event series for local/regional public authorities and their stakeholders, entitled “GET READY FOR 2050”. Divided in three online sessions, the event series aimed to support participants in three central areas: building effective collaboration processes, (successfully) planning for the future, and financing climate and energy plans. Supported by high-level experts and other invited EU initiatives, organisers offered participants an interesting mix of inspiring presentations and small-group discussions to tackle the main challenges and seize opportunities related to the central themes.
