Want to learn more about the innovation of smart meters? Follow the webinar on the 30th of March.
The smart meter plays a defining role in the EU’s energy and digital transition strategy. Given the green transition, consumers are required to reduce their own energy consumption to make renewables a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. Smart meters partake in this strategy by collecting data and calculating the energy used by consumers. For consumers, it raises their awareness of one own’s consumption. Furthermore, it provides data to energy providers who, in return, can adapt to the electricity need of consumers.
In this episode of the Data Hub series, the smart meter is brought under the spotlight. During the webinar, smart metering security, ethics, data management, legal and sustainability are discussed by experts.
The webinar is organised by Enlit Europe and moderated by Francisco Puento, Director of Escan Energy.
