New European Bauhaus as an additional cohesive element of the European Union

The National Platform for the New European Bauhaus of the Republic of Croatia invites you to this online event which will be moderated by FEDARENE president and REGEA director Julije Domac.

The 01 March 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 Brussels time

We invite you to an online event on the theme of New European Bauhaus as an additional cohesive element of the European Union, which will take place on March 1, from 10 am to 11 am (CET).

The New European Bauhaus aims to connect the European Green Plan with the spaces in which we live and the way we would like to live together, respecting the planet and preserving nature. The ambition of New European Bauhaus is to unite professions, but also citizens with the aim of transforming our living environment and lifestyles around three fundamental values:

  • sustainability, from climate goals to circularity and biodiversity,
  • aesthetics, quality of experience and style, beyond functionality,
  • Inclusion, including accessibility and affordability.

The New European Bauhaus sheds a light and calls for a return to a more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive life in each of our neighborhoods, villages, towns, and cities.

The goal is to simultaneously contribute to the realization of all three values to develop creative solutions that best meet the needs of people while increasing efficiency at a lower total cost. It is about the impact at the local level – the transformation of the place and the development of the industrial ecosystem.

The green transition brings many challenges, and the New European Bauhaus aims to offer solutions and transformation – from the global level to the level of neighborhoods, cities, and villages.

Involving everyone, encouraging concrete actions, and finding solutions together, along with politics, different funding models, because only this can and must make a difference. It is this inclusion that ensures that no one is left behind and that the most creative solutions are born out of collective innovation.
The New European Bauhaus community today has more than 400 official partners.
