2014 ManagEnergy & Sustainable Energy Europe Awards: Call for submissions!

A new edition of the most prestigious award competition in sustainable energy at the EU level is now open.

2014 ManagEnergy & Sustainable Energy Europe Awards: Call for submissions!

The 2014 Sustainable Energy Europe and ManagEnergy awards will once again highlight public and private initiatives that are actively contributing to the EU’s 2020 energy and climate objectives. Are you keen to present your efforts and achievements in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy or clean transport? Does your project and organisation deserve recognition and increased visibility for its commitment and accomplishments in building a more sustainable Europe? Then we invite you to take part. It’s your turn!

Managed by EACI – now called EASME – on behalf of the European Commission’s DG Energy, the Sustainable Energy Europe Awards and the ManagEnergy Award are complementary competitions sharing the same ultimate goal: to provide institutional recognition and increased visibility to best in class sustainable energy initiatives.

  • The Sustainable Energy Europe Awards integrate five different categories according to different policy strands: awareness-raising (Communicating), educational programmes (Learning), buildings (Living), energy savings (Consuming) and clean mobility (Travelling).
  • ManagEnergy Award will focus on local and regional public authorities and energy agencies that are addressing fuel poverty, implementation of renewable energy projects or innovative financing schemes for sustainable energy actions.

.

Please note: projects may not participate in both competitions.

DEADLINES for the forthcoming evaluation are 31 January, 28 February and 28 March 2014 (final deadline).
