The first call of the European City Facility (EUCF) closed on 2nd October, counting more than 250 applications from across Europe. Municipalities from all EU27+UK countries participated with enthusiasm to the call.
The first call of the European City Facility (EUCF) closed on 2nd October, counting more than 250 applications from across Europe. Municipalities from all EU27+UK countries participated with enthusiasm to the call. The highest number of applications came from Southern Europe (48%) followed by Central and Eastern Europe (28%) and Nordic countries & Western Europe (26%). Soon, successful applications will receive €60k financial support and related services to develop their investment concepts to boost ambitious climate and energy plans.
What’s next
The EUCF´s dedicated evaluation team will start now with evaluating these applications based on the evaluation criteria
The results will be published in early December 2020.
