Apply to the last call of the European City Facility – H2020 now!
The aim of the initiative is to help more than 200 municipalities across the European Union to develop an investment concept to improve their chances of obtaining the necessary investment funds for the transition to sustainable energy supply like the renovation of public buildings, heat networks, sustainable mobility as well as innovative energy structures. As part of the initiative, participating municipalities will once again have the opportunity to compete for a €60,000 grant to prepare an investment concept for sustainability projects.
The European City Facility is open to municipalities, local authorities, their groupings and local public entities aggregating municipalities / local authorities.
The fourth call will be open from the 9th of June to the 30th September 2022, so if you have unsuccessfully applied to previous calls and would like to improve your application and compete for a grant again, you are also welcome to participate!
What can energy agencies do? They can be hired by the beneficiaires for the development of an investment concept for their projects on sustainable energy. The grant (60.000 €) may be used for technical feasibility studies, legal analysis, market analysis, and so much more.
Get inspired by the 68 municipalities that were selected in the 3rd call here. Each will receive a grant for the development of local sustainable energy projects.
Finally, make sure to have a look at the Webinar we hosted on 30th June specially for FEDARENE members, in which we discuss also the new aspects on the application and evaluation process brought by this 4th call.
