The final report of the Energy Efficiency Watch 4 project is out! Exploring the status of European energy efficiency policies, the report identifies and helps to construct social narratives that support the uptake and implementation of these policies at all levels of governance.
The final report from the Energy Efficiency Watch 4 (EEW4) project is now public!
The project funded under Horizon 2020 supports policymakers in EU Member States trying to reach the target of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED). Overall, EEW4 improves the degree of successful implementation of policy instruments for energy efficiency by identifying and developing argumentative drivers of public discourse that facilitate the acceleration of energy efficiency policies in the European Union.
Building on the experiences of the first three Energy Efficiency Watch projects, EEW4 goes beyond the traditional approach of analysing policy instruments’ efficacy, and actively contributes to the development of lasting energy efficiency policies at all levels of governance.
